Our client required an existing vehicle graphic design to be recreated from scratch due to the absence of original artwork files.

The project involved accurately redrawing the company logo, identifying and matching the original font and rebuilding the complete vehicle graphic design.

The Challenge

Without access to the original design files, we had to carefully recreate every element of the existing livery. This included redrawing the company logo in vector format, identifying and matching the original typography and recreating the existing layout and branding elements. By rebuilding the artwork, we were able to provide the client with high-quality, scalable graphics suitable for both current and future vehicle applications.

Preparation Is Everything

Before any vinyl is applied, thorough preparation is essential. The vehicle underwent a comprehensive cleaning and preparation process to remove road grime, tar deposits, grease, wax residue and embedded dirt. Proper preparation not only creates a flawless appearance but also ensures maximum adhesion and long-term durability of the graphics. Preparation and cleaning are an important part of any vehicle install. Having the surface free of tar marks, grit and grease creates a flawless finish and improves initial adhesion of the vinyl. Not just when it leaves our unit, but lasts over time.

Materials Used

For this installation, we used Metamark M7 Air Escape vinyl. This premium wrapping material features advanced air-release channels within the adhesive, allowing trapped air to escape during application.

The Result

The completed vehicle graphics successfully replicated the client’s original branding while benefiting from modern materials and professional installation techniques. Through accurate artwork recreation, careful preparation and expert application, the vehicle was transformed into a professional mobile advertisement ready to represent the business on the road.
